Graduate Program in Acoustics

Acoustics Classroom

The Acoustics Program classroom is the primary location for all classes taken by acoustics students on campus. It is equipped with a video projection system capable of displaying VHS, S-VHS, DVD, and computer workstation graphics. An Internet connection for the classroom computer allows for viewing of graphics from the acoustics workstations. A well-equipped sound system is suitable for audio demonstrations and some experimentation.

The teaching lab is equipped with a number of PCs on a local network and the Internet. They are used for course work and lab class experiments, and are outfitted with the latest software. Several PCs are also outfitted for data aquisition and analysis, using a Hewlett-Packard multichannel PC interfaced analyzer.
