Graduate Program in Acoustics

Academic Advisors

The default academic advisor for Distance Education students is the Director of Acoustics Distance Education, Dr. Dan Russell ( Dr. Russell will assist with course recommendations and will help students develop a plan for completing the M.Eng. degree.

When a Distance Education student is ready to begin working on his/her capstone paper, Dr. Russell will work with the student to narrow a topic for the paper. Dr. Russell will also help to match the student with an Acoustics faculty member who is most closely associated with the topic about which the student is interested in writing. This faculty paper advisor will read and provide feedback about the paper, and will ensure that the quality of the paper meets the standards of the Graduate Program in Acoustics.
